Elsewhere, Zoro and Sanji bicker over their strength after hunting dinosaurs. Suddenly, a volcano erupts, signaling the start of a long-standing duel between the two giants, Dorry and Broggy, who have been fighting for 100 years. Their battle shakes the entire island.
At the same time, Mr.5 and Ms. Valentine arrive on Little Garden Island and defeat a dinosaur using Ms. Valentine’s Devil Fruit powers. They meet with Mr.3 and his partner, Golden Beak, who orders them to kill the two giants with bounties of 100 million berries each.

In One Piece Episode 72, Luffy, Vivi, Nami, and Usopp watch the intense battle between the giants Dorry and Broggy, who have been fighting for 100 years without a winner after 73,466 duels. Usopp is awestruck and expresses his desire to become a warrior like them. After the giants collapse from exhaustion, Broggy gives Dorry two barrels of alcohol, which he received from human guests.
Meanwhile, Vivi urges Luffy to use the opportunity to leave the island, but Luffy refuses, saying they must help the giants resolve their long-standing conflict. Dorry explains that it would take about a year for the Log Pose to reset, which worries Vivi, as she needs to return to Alabasta urgently.
Dorry drinks the alcohol but soon coughs up blood, believing Luffy’s crew poisoned him. Despite Luffy’s attempts to reason with him, Dorry attacks in anger. Luffy, forced to defend himself, uses his Devil Fruit powers to knock Dorry down and apologizes, explaining it was the only way to make him listen.
Meanwhile, Mr.5 reveals to Mr.3 that he tampered with the alcohol to kill Dorry. As another volcanic eruption signals the continuation of their duel, Broggy prepares to fight again despite his fatigue, and Usopp’s attempts to stop him are in vain.

Elsewhere, Zoro loses his way and encounters a Nami with a strange look, while a dinosaur is chasing the real Nami and Usopp. Usopp outruns Nami, leaving her behind, but she later finds another “Luffy” acting strangely. Usopp panics when he can’t find the real Nami and hears her scream.
Usopp explains everything to Luffy, who angrily shouts for answers. His voice reaches Mr.3 and Golden Week. Mr.5 and Ms. Valentine, who had beaten Karoo, confront Luffy and Vivi. Despite their desire for revenge, Vivi and Usopp are quickly defeated, leaving Vivi frightened of Mr.3’s powerful candle abilities, realizing they are trapped on the island.

The Devil’s Candle! Tears of Regret and Tears of Anger
In One Piece Episode 74, Mr.5 repeatedly attacks Luffy, rendering him unconscious, while Ms. Valentine drags Vivi away. Mr.3, using his Candle powers, traps Broggy and Dorry in wax, rendering them immobile. He constructs a massive wax cake, placing Zoro, Nami, and Vivi on top, warning that as the wax melts, they will turn into wax statues.
Nami is terrified, but Zoro remains calm, waiting for an opportunity to strike. Broggy, enraged by the revelation of the plot against Dorry, tries to break free but is quickly subdued again by Mr.3, who reinforces the wax and injures Broggy with wax bullets.
As Zoro considers cutting off his legs to escape the wax, Nami is shocked by the drastic idea, but Broggy’s spirit is reignited, and he joins Zoro, inspired by his bravery. Vivi, motivated by revenge against Baroque Works for Igaram’s death, also vows to fight.
Meanwhile, Luffy, Usopp, and Karoo recover their strength and dig Luffy out of the ground. Together, they rush to the wax cake, where Luffy arrives just in time to see Zoro bleeding. He reassures Zoro that he has come to rescue them, ready to fight back against their captors.

Luffy Attacked by Magic! Colors Trap

Zoro urges Luffy to cut the wax pillar, and Luffy uses his Devil Fruit powers to do so, but the pillar falls back into place.
Now, with the lit candles closer, the wax begins to melt faster, putting their friends in more danger. Mr.3 tries to use his wax powers to stop Luffy, but Usopp intervenes by launching a bomb at him, only for Mr.5 to intercept and swallow it, releasing harmless smoke. Mr.5 and Ms. Valentine then pursue Usopp, who Karoo leaves behind as she outruns him.
As Luffy attempts to rescue his friends, Golden Week uses her colour trap abilities, first immobilizing Luffy with brown paint, making him stand still. He briefly escapes but is soon affected by yellow paint that forces him to laugh uncontrollably. Karoo saves him by wiping the paint off, but Golden Week quickly traps Luffy again with red paint, sticking his hands together when he tries to use his Bazooka attack.
Finally, she uses blue paint, causing Luffy to calmly sit with her and drink coffee instead of fighting. Usopp returns, horrified to find that his friends are nearly transformed into wax statues, while Luffy is oddly relaxed, sitting and enjoying coffee with Golden Week.

Critical Counterattack! Usopp’s Quick Wit and Kaenboshi!

After realizing that Golden Week’s paint is controlling Luffy, Usopp attempts to shoot her with his catapult but accidentally hits Luffy, burning his shirt and snapping him back to normal.
As Usopp and Karoo are attacked by Mr.5, Luffy confronts Mr.3, who dons a wax armor. Though Luffy struggles to defeat him at first, Usopp realizes that fire can melt the wax. While Ms. Valentine attacks Usopp, Karoo runs around the wax cake with a rope, dodging Mr.5’s bullets.
Usopp shouts for Luffy to light the rope on fire to melt the wax and free their friends. Luffy ignites Mr.3’s wax hair, causing the rope to catch fire, melting the wax and saving Nami, Vivi, and Zoro. Nami and Vivi knock out Ms. Valentine, while Zoro swiftly defeats Mr.5. The giants, Broggy and Dorry, also revive.
As Mr.3 flees into the forest, Luffy and Karoo give chase, with Luffy eventually finding and defeating the real Mr.3. Meanwhile, Sanji discovers a hidden wax room in the forest and stumbles upon a mysterious phone call. He answers it, learning that Mr.0 (Crocodile) has been orchestrating a plot to kill them all on the island.

When they arrive, Sanji quickly defeats them and continues to deceive Crocodile by claiming he killed all the pirates and Princess Vivi. Crocodile, suspicious of Sanji’s story, orders Mr.2 to go after Mr.3, but Sanji manages to secure an Eternal Pose to Arabasta before rejoining his crew.
After receiving the Eternal Pose, the Straw Hats bid farewell to Broggy and Dorry, who now consider them friends. As they prepare to set sail for Arabasta, the giants stand at the shore and offer advice, telling them to stay on course despite obstacles.
Suddenly, a giant sea monster called Island Eater appears and swallows the Going Merry. Though the crew panics, Broggy and Dorry come to their rescue, killing the monster with their swords. The Straw Hats thank the giants for saving them, and they continue their journey toward Arabasta.
One Piece Episode 78
Nami is Sick? Beyond the Snow that Falls on the Ocean!

Nami, feeling weak, hands Vivi the Eternal Pose to guide the ship. She also shows Vivi a hidden newspaper revealing that the situation in Arabasta has worsened, with a cold war brewing.
After a while, Nami collapses from a high fever, shocking the crew. Sanji carries her inside to rest, while Vivi explains that Nami’s fever is serious. Luffy’s ignorance of fevers surprises everyone when he reveals he’s never had one. In the middle of their concern, Nami briefly wakes up to correct the ship’s course, noticing that they are heading towards a dangerous cyclone.
The crew adjusts the ship’s direction, narrowly avoiding the cyclone, but Nami’s condition continues to worsen. As the weather changes to snowfall, Vivi urges the crew to speed up the ship so they can find a doctor for Nami.
Concern for Nami’s health intensifies, and as they sail through the snowy waters, Zoro spots a strange figure standing on the sea. Luffy and Usopp are astonished as they see the man, hinting at a mysterious encounter ahead.

Ambush! The Bliking and Wapol the Blik
In One Piece Episode 79, a submarine suddenly emerges behind the Going Merry, followed by a pirate ship led by a captain with a Devil Fruit power that allows him to eat anything, though he cannot swim. The Straw Hat crew is surrounded by the pirates, intent on looting them. Zoro and Luffy engage in battle, with Luffy using his Bazooka to defeat the pirate captain.
As the enemy crew retreats, they warn that they will return to attack again. Meanwhile, Smoker and Tashigi continue their pursuit of the Straw Hats, eavesdropping on Sanji’s conversation with Mr.0 and learning that the crew is heading to Arabasta. Smoker then requests an Eternal Pose to Arabasta and sets off in pursuit.
Back on the Going Merry, the crew is deeply concerned about Nami’s worsening condition. Luffy, trying to cheer her up with funny faces, shows his care, which touches Nami as she briefly awakens. Sanji stays on watch throughout the night as the crew rests. By morning, Usopp begins repairing the ship, and Vivi notices the cold weather, realizing they are nearing a Winter Island.
She explains that the Grand Line has 16 different types of seasons. When they reach the island, the locals refuse to let them dock, despite Sanji’s pleas for help. The situation escalates when they shoot at the crew, and Vivi is injured after stepping in front of Luffy. Enraged by the attack, Luffy prepares to confront the islanders.
One Piece Episode 80
A Doctorless Island? Adventure in the Country Without a Name!
In One Piece Episode 80, Luffy gets angry and tries to attack the islanders for shooting at them, but Vivi stops him, insisting that not all problems can be solved with violence. She humbly pleads for help, bowing her head despite being a princess, which makes Luffy realize that asking for help is the right approach. Moved by their sincerity, Dalton, the leader of the group, agrees to help.
Sanji carries Nami on his back as they head to the island with Usopp, Luffy, and Vivi. Along the way, Usopp is startled by the sight of a hiking bear peacefully walking along the snowy road. Dalton explains that the island only has one doctor, a 140-year-old witch named Dr. Kureha, who lives in a remote castle. He warns them about the dangers of taking the shortest route to the castle, which is home to dangerous rabbits.
Despite Dalton’s warning, Sanji and Luffy choose the shortest route to reach the castle quickly. Along the way, Sanji kicks a small rabbit out of frustration, only to face a group of angry rabbits ready to attack in retaliation. Meanwhile, Vivi, Usopp, and Dalton wait outside in the snow, where Dalton shares the tragic history of Drum Kingdom.
He reveals that the kingdom was once ruled by the tyrannical King Wapol, who fled after being attacked by the Blackbeard Pirates.
