In One Piece Episode 41, the tension between Nami and Arlong escalates as Nami, along with the villagers, confronts him despite his threats. Arlong tries to intimidate her by holding her friends hostage, but Nami remains resolute. Meanwhile, Genzo and Nojiko desperately work to awaken Luffy, who is still trapped underwater. Zoro, regaining consciousness, takes up his swords and challenges Arlong, revealing his determination to become the world’s greatest swordsman despite his severe injuries from a previous battle with the world’s strongest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk. As the battle intensifies, Sanji dives underwater to assist Nojiko in freeing Luffy. Hatchan, the octopus fishman, attempts to intervene, but he is quickly defeated when Sanji delivers a powerful kick that shatters the rock trapping Luffy. Luffy regains consciousness, expelling the water he swallowed and rejoining the fight. His return energizes his crew and the villagers. Bursting Out! Fishman Arlong, Fearsome Attack From the Sea!
In One Piece Episode 42, the fierce battle between Luffy and Arlong continues, with both fighters trading powerful blows. Luffy manages to break Arlong’s sharp teeth, but Arlong quickly regrows them and even uses a set of his teeth as a weapon. In a surprising move, Luffy snatches the teeth and bites Arlong with them, mocking him by asking how it feels. Enraged, Arlong jumps into the sea to enhance his strength and attacks Luffy with his Shark Darts technique. Despite Arlong’s attempts to overpower him, including trying to bite his hand, Luffy counters by grabbing Arlong’s hair and slamming him into the ground.
The fight escalates as Arlong draws his shark sword, and Luffy uses his Gum-Gum powers to continue the battle. Their struggle leads them to the topmost room of Arlong Park, which is filled with navigation maps drawn by Nami. Luffy is horrified to realize that Nami was forced to work as a slave for Arlong, creating maps for him. As Arlong prepares to strike Luffy with his sword, the tension peaks, with everyone anxiously awaiting the outcome of this climactic showdown, hoping for Arlong’s defeat.

The End of the Fishman Empire! Nami is my Friend!
In One Piece Episode 43, the intense battle between Luffy and Arlong continues in Nami’s room, where Arlong reveals how he has controlled and exploited Nami since childhood. Arlong declares his intention to keep Nami as their slave and kill Luffy. Enraged by Arlong’s words, Luffy kicks the desk where Nami used to draw her maps out of the window, symbolically rejecting Arlong’s control over her. Luffy then throws all of Nami’s maps outside, further angering Arlong. The two continue their fierce battle on the rooftop, where Luffy musters all his strength to deliver a powerful blow to Arlong, sending him crashing to the ground with his body shattered. The impact causes the entire Arlong Park to collapse on top of Arlong, leading to his death. The villagers cheer, relieved and overjoyed that their tormentor has finally been defeated.
As Luffy emerges from the rubble, Nami places his pirate hat back on his head, symbolizing their shared victory and newfound freedom. The villagers celebrate the end of Arlong’s reign, believing that peace has finally returned to their lives. However, their joy is interrupted by the arrival of a Marine officer and his crew, who praise Luffy’s battle with Arlong but then demand all the money Arlong had looted, claiming it for themselves. When the officer threatens the villagers, Zoro knocks him out from behind, and Nami punishes him with her stick. Although the Marines are driven away, the officer retaliates by ordering wanted posters to be made for Luffy, marking the beginning of Luffy’s notoriety as a pirate.

Setting of with a Smile! Farewell my Hometown, Cocoyashi Village!
In One Piece Episode 44, the villagers celebrate their liberation from Arlong with a grand feast. Luffy, full from eating, enjoys the festivities, while Sanji smokes, and Johnny and Yosaku dance with the villagers. Meanwhile, Zoro is treated by the village doctor for his injuries. Luffy visits Bellemere’s grave, where Genzo, paying his respects, shares a drink and tells Luffy that he must take good care of Nami. Luffy promises to protect her. Nami, determined to leave her past behind, visits the doctor to have her Arlong tattoo removed and replaced with a symbol of an orange tree, representing her bond with Bellemere and her village.
The next day, the Straw Hat crew prepares to set sail, with the villagers providing them with supplies for their journey. As they wait for Nami, she has a moment alone at home, imagining Bellemere encouraging her to embark on her pirate adventure. Suddenly, Nami arrives at the ship, jumping aboard at the last moment. As the crew sets off, the villagers shout for Nami to thank them, but instead, she mischievously reveals that she has stolen their wallets. The crew, amused, realizes that Nami hasn’t completely changed her ways. As they sail away, Genzo reminds Luffy of his promise to protect Nami, marking the beginning of the crew’s next adventure together.

Buggy fights off the tribespeople, saving his crew, and his severed body parts, which had been scattered, miraculously reassembled, restoring him to his full form. With his crew back together, Buggy’s confidence is renewed. Meanwhile, Luffy and his crew approach Loguetown, a significant and bustling town that marks the next step in their journey.

The Town of the Beginning and the End – Arrival at the Loguetown
In One Piece Episode 48, Luffy and his crew arrive at Loguetown, a pivotal town known as the place where the legendary pirate Gold Roger was executed. The crew disperses to explore the town: Usopp heads to a shop to gather supplies for his experiments, Nami tries on various outfits at a clothing store, and Sanji enjoys watching the elegantly dressed women. In One Piece Episode 49, Smoker confronts Luffy in Loguetown, attempting to arrest him. Luffy boldly declares his intention to become the King of Pirates and insists that someone with such a title cannot be captured. Smoker challenges Luffy to defeat him if he wants to leave the town, leading Luffy to use his Gum-Gum powers, which unfortunately fail. In his attempt to escape, Luffy jumps high into the sky and ends up falling asleep in an unknown location.
Meanwhile, Zoro, in need of new swords before entering the Grand Line, visits a shop but accidentally breaks a girl’s glasses during an encounter. The girl refuses Zoro’s apology and instead demands he work at the Navy office to clean the floor. However, when the Navy officers recognize him as the pirate Roronoa Zoro, he narrowly escapes. Later, Zoro encounters the girl again, offering to pay for the glasses, but she refuses the money. Zoro then heads to a sword shop, where he offers all the money he has for new swords. The shopkeeper, noticing Zoro’s valuable sword, initially refuses to sell him any for such a small amount. However, after witnessing Zoro’s skill in handling a cursed sword, the shopkeeper, impressed and fearful, gifts Zoro two high-quality swords. Meanwhile, Luffy, still on the run, makes his way to the execution platform where the legendary Gold Roger met his end, with Smoker close behind, ready to capture him.
One Piece Episode 50
Usopp vs Daddy The Father! Showdown at Highnoon
In One Piece Episode 50, Luffy and Zoro witness Daddy Masterson, a skilled bounty hunter and civilian who assists the Navy, demonstrating his fighting prowess on the streets. Meanwhile, Usopp, after purchasing several items, realizes he forgot to buy goggles and rushes back to the store. There, he encounters a girl who also wants the same goggles, leading to a quarrel. The girl runs off with the goggles, and Usopp chases her, eventually discovering that she is Daddy Masterson’s daughter. Usopp boasts about being a great pirate who defeated Arlong, but Daddy, unimpressed, checks his wanted posters and doesn’t recognize Usopp. Determined to get the goggles, Usopp throws a gas bomb and tries to escape, but Daddy easily draws multiple pistols and corners him.
Usopp, terrified, pleads for his life, but when Nami intervenes to help, Usopp insists on fighting for himself, declaring that he is Usopp, a proud member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Daddy, intrigued, asks if Usopp knows Yasopp, and Usopp reveals that Yasopp is his father. Daddy then shares a story from his past, where he lost a duel to Yasopp, who spared his life after seeing a photo of Daddy’s daughter, Carol. This act of mercy left a lasting impression on Daddy. Remembering his father, Usopp bravely accepts Daddy’s challenge to hit a distant fish symbol with his slingshot, but he fails. Carol, Daddy’s daughter, begs her father not to shoot Usopp, and Daddy, impressed by Usopp’s spirit, decides to spare him. In the end, Carol gives Usopp the goggles as a gift. Meanwhile, Sanji hears a mysterious girl’s voice calling him, piquing his curiosity.
